Completed applications should be sent to Northern New England Conference at 91 Allen Ave, Portland, ME 04103. Application fee must accompany application or arrive prior to the January 12, 2010, deadline. No refunds will be given after that deadline. Please make all checks payable to the Northern New England Conference (or NNEC).

Each student participating in Art Clinic must be accompanied by a sponsor who is responsible for him or her at all times. Therefore, a sponsor application will be sent with each application. However, a sponsor can be responsible for more than one participant.

Sponsors will be asked to perform duties at the clinic to insure the program runs smoothly. If you do not select a preference on your application, you will be assigned one at random.


Application Deadline
The Art Clinic final application deadline is January 12, 2010. We will not be accepting applications postmarked after this time.

Fees & Refunds
There is a $30 student application fee. This fee covers the expenses of purchasing food and art supplies. There is a $20 sponsor fee for sponsors, which covers food. Refunds will be given prior to the January 12 deadline. No refunds will be given after that deadline.

Who Can Attend?
Students grades 5-12

What to Bring
  • Winter Wear such as a hat, boots, mittens/gloves, snow pants for group art/snow sculpture
  • Sack lunch for Thursday noon
  • Sleeping bag and personal items
  • Water bottle
  • Smock or oversized shirt
***All clinic attire must be modest with no hats in the buildings or jewelry.

Outdoor Group Art: Persian Palace Snow Sculpture - Kevin Wall, Instructor Art Instructors will release students for needed breaks at their discretion under the supervision of group helpers for work on the snow sculpture.

We are happy to assist with community home accommodations, however, their availability is limited. Anyone wishing to make their own arrangements may do so. If you request our help in finding housing and then decide to make your own arrangements, please inform us ASAP! Your designated host will need to know that information. If your school needs to arrive on the evening of February 3, please let the Education Department know that information at (207) 797-3760. Note: taxes may not be included in prices listed.
